What is the Katoomba Chamber?
The Katoomba Chamber of Commerce and Community (KCCC) is dedicated to promoting and supporting the interests and heritage of Katoomba. We also want to see a flourishing community centred around the main street of Katoomba.
The Katoomba Chamber developed out of the Katoomba Main Street Organisation established in 1999. The Chamber has had a significant impact on the local area, and the dedication and commitment of many members over the years has resulted in great improvements in and around the town. These have included:
Playing an active role in town improvements including: lighting, signage, security cameras, flagpoles, flower pots, benches, car parks, gardens, paving, fencing and street art.
Providing a forum for business & community members to network with & support each other.
Supporting special events such as Christmas Shopping nights and festive decorations.
Developing a unified voice to advocate and lobby on behalf of the Katoomba community.
Meeting with BMCC staff to advocate in the interests of a flourishing Katoomba CBD.
Communicating news about the Katoomba main street to the general Katoomba community.
We invite building owners, business owners, community members and representatives of local organisations to sign up to our free newsletter and to consider joining KCCC, your local chamber of commerce and community. Please visit our membership page to join.
